Cd problem

I was watching a DVD movie on my laptop . Suddenly it went off . and the cd disappear from my Computer !! I had to take off the CD using a needle and the computer is not booting now any other cd .
I try to delet the upper and lower filter .. problem is that after i run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

I can not find the upper and lowe filter to delet !!!!

I use the cd in alot of activities and I really missing to watch DVD and to listen on music using my lap tob !! can any onre on Earth help ???

Just buy new dvd-rom and you will be ok...you can look for used one..just make sure it has the same part number..and most laptop dvd rom faceplate is removable so just swap after you get a new one..it also might need to swap dvd rom screwing braket
