CD-Writer Raw?

I am looking for a good relatively inexpensive CD-Writer 8x or better). Plextor seems to be recommended, but I heard somewhere that it won't duplicate some copy-protected cd'S becasue it does not support RAW writing. Can you please help me, I need this function for archival.

As far as I know, any current Plextor models support RAW (and pretty much all other CD writing features known to man).
