CGNAT camera problem

Hi,
My internet provider recently change to CGNAT and with this I lost connection to my Wifi cameras.
They charge for an Static IP ($25 monthly).

I own a netgear Nighthawk router with VPN.

I'm planning to have a virtual server that only cost $5 to connect with my VPN and to be able to see the cameras from anywhere.

This idea will work?. Or what can I do?

Does your ISP block access from the outside, or you just are getting dynamic (changing once in a while) IP address?
In second case, just sunscribe to some Dynamic DNS service (check your router, it might already support that).

Hi, yes I was using DNS service, but after this change by the ISP the remote access do not work.
also the DNS service do not work.
They want to charge for the public dynamic ip.

Not sure what you mean a virtual server but you can get vpn services that have fixed ip addresses. That will allow incoming sessions that as if your router had the ip on its wan interface. Not sure on costs but they are not $25.

Are you saying your ISP is not giving you public IP address?
This makes your task of "phoning" home much more difficult. I would ditch that sob ISP immediately.
