CHALLENGER-U3 v HAF 912

A few people have suggested to me to get the HAF 912 over the U3, and i was wondering what exactly is the difference, or the reason that the HAF is considered better then the U3. I was mainly buying the U3 on a friends recommendation as he has the challenger and he says he loves it. I was getting the U3 mainly for the front usb 3.0 ports as my mobo supports it (ASRock Z77 Pro4) and the HAF doesnt as it has usb 2.0.


Is there any other reasons why the HAF is better then the U3?

If the usb 3.0 is a requirement then you would not want the Cooler Master 912 since it doesn't have one and the choice of a case other than air flow is a personal choice as to what you like in options and like to look at , thats why they make so many different cases and in every color. The case linked above does have the front usb and good air flow but is $10 more and is a case that I have recomended for many builds because of the cooling options. There are a lot of places to put fans and it comes with three and a couple are big sized (200mm).
Maybe people are recomending the 912 because of the cooling options , I don't know but as a choice between the U3 and the 912 you would have to choose the one you like or you could choose between the U3 and the Storm Enforcer.

Im leaning towards getting the enforcer, but newegg has a sale, the U3 is currently 39.99 while the Storm Enforcer is 79.99. Is getting the Enforcer over the U3 worth the 40 dollars?

The storm enforcer is $79.99 and a $10 rebate which makes the final price $69.99 so it's a $30 difference and like I said in my previous post the case is more of a personal choice as to what you like to look at. If the cost is a factor then it would only make sense to go with the cheaper case. The U3 does have adequite coolng and meets your requirements of the usb 3 port. Your the one who will be looking at the case and using it so the choice is yours to make. I had originaly posted it because I happen to think Cooler Master makes great cases and they do look good and the options that they include can be pretty good and appealing.If price is not a consieration then the Storm Enforcer would be a good choice because of the looks and the cooling options and what fans are included with the case.
