[SOLVED] Checking if got cpu and ram will post before I put anything but it doesn’t

I recently just got parts for a pc and I’m trying to post before I actually put it in the case but it won’t post. Everything turns on but I just get a black screen. I also was thinking about getting an audio thing to hear the error codes but though I would come here first.

Gigabyte b550 elite v2, RTX 3060 ti, amd ryzen 5 5600 x, corsair ddr4 3600 cl18 ram

How many modules?
PSU model?

Do you know if the motherboard BIOS supports the Ryzen 5000 series CPU?
Try updating the BIOS.

hi thanks for the advice but i realized what happend while i was bios updating there was unneccecary files on the bios which cauased a black screen

You are using the RTX 3060 ti to get an image? Looking at your question above does it seem you are trying a motherboard video output where the 5600X has no integrated gpu.
