Every time a legitimate issue arises between US and China, China responds to accusations with "it's harmful to US-China relations". They skirt the real question every single time. It's starting to get irritating.

China, you won't be considered a real world power until you are held accountable to your actions.

[citation][nom]doc70[/nom]This is so typical of communist regimes, they lie in your face and call white as black while you look at it and see that it is white.Did not expect any other answer from them...question is, will the US accept this and look the other way, as it has done repeatedly whenever China was involved, or will take a different stance this time? I am willing to bet on the first option.[/citation]

Lie in your face, is that not what Obummer and all the leftist Marxist hacks in DC been doing the whole time? Open government my arse, closed door after closed door meetings. They are a bunch on Commie wannabe union thugs, nothing more. Thank you Massachusetts' voters for waking up.

[citation][nom]IzzyCraft[/nom]eh it's china fault every country does a bit of hacking espionage but china does a ways too much it's starting to tick people off.[/citation]
By "china" do you mean the Chinese Central Government, or some Chinese university genius who grew tired of StarCraft and decided on some crafting of his own? I am certain the CIA does more hacking than all the security agencies put together, maybe with the exception of the FSB (Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation).

back in the 90s after a Chinese fighter hit a U.S observation plane the Chinese government retaliated and hacked the white house web page. The next day U.S hackers defaced over 2500 Chinese web sites. Its not the first time the Chinese have openly used cyber warfare, and not the last. Last time the hit a target that could fight back, but the U.S and google are in a sensitive spot and can not just fire back with there own hacking barrage without risk of loosing favor with the Chinese. China is very vulnerable to the same kind of attack and would suffer greatly if there internal networks were disrupted.

Here is my source
Hansen, B. (2002, April 12). Cyber-crime

I agree that China needs to own up. Just because there's no bloodshed, that doesn't mean there wasn't an attack. I can already see this spiraling into a giant shitty war. YAAAY!

Maybe if people would stop sucking, the world could actually get on peacefully.

So, you suggest we just let it go by? Fuck that. Disrupt there networks until they grow a brain!

We can only go so far. We cannot take on China in a war. Sure, we'd blow them up really good, but they'd nuke us. Not worth it over some hacking. Every Communist regime falls sooner or later. Just give them a few more decades.

[citation][nom]happi[/nom]China is so rich to lend out so much money, maybe use the money to better its citizen life style?[/citation]
Why should they? They have got a billion peole living like stone-age peasants whilst the CCP leaders live in obscene luxury. It's like an massive version of some African tin-pot dictatorship, except instead of Ida Amin they have Hu Jintao.

It wasn't that long ago that if an American company was attacked by a foreign nation, America would have taken decisive action, because you know, it was an attack on America, regardless where the attack was. Now all we say is, "Hey, look into that attack that you did" Weak, so damn weak.

You got any sources to back that up? Why do you believe Russians and Americans are hacking, but not the Chinese? You say it might be some bored student (who just happened to go after dissidents and human rights activists), but are you even aware of what the Chinese government would do to an individual hacker who antagonizes trade relations with the United States without the Chinese government's approval (he'd either be executed or put in a gulag until he drops)?

Were you there when it happen ? If not please b4 you want to speak again, just stfu.

you make it sound like China is the one and only place that will hack other people.

You guys are so great OMG Americans and Communist are bad blah blah blah. Hey, why don't you Americans stop BEGGING US FOR MONEY ?

Eat it bitch.

What I do know is you fags owe the world 1.2 Trillion.

LMAO.

Lets see who falls first. bitch.

Forgot to mention, blow them up really good? LMAO

You guys are o-my-god-o-holy so god damn power, but you guys getting your ass woop in Middle East every freaking day. ROFL.

I think you should really check and compare the weapons between China and US before you talk again.

Every country/empire in the history of the world has eventually fallen apart. America and China will be the same, it will just take quite a bit of time. America is getting close though, what with all the debt and corruption. And CChick, at least America allows people to speak out against the government without getting hacked or thrown in prison.

um...people do you not realize that the united states is the largest consumer of chinese made goods? most of the money that we "owe" china is credit on their products. I mean honestly what are they going to do, ask for the money? Seriously now people, if the U.S. economy collapses guess what SO DOES CHINA. and by the way, china is not a rich country. get your facts straight.

oh and cchick, stfu. your just another brainwashed chinese. feel free to die for your country....as for the person who mentioned nuclear warfare, not going to happen. there are thousands of nuclear weapons pointed at eachother every minute of every day. the only ones who would be dumb enough to fire are Iran, Isreal and North Korea. China may be shady and full of bullshit but they are not dumb enough to end the world in flames.

Just answer one question, why is internet gambling illegal in US? Is it so different from porn and other stuff?

Freedom is only free when someone else is paying for it. Argue all you want, you can't deny this fact that no country offers total "Freedom" on internet or in real life.

When US govenment decided to monitor all phone calls, monitor sensitive words on internet, and arrest poeple that they deem "terrorists" with little evidence, all credibility is lost. All countries do this in name of security, all all poeple in the world understand and accept this. What's ironical about Americans though is that they only allow their own government to do it, or turn blind to the ations of their own government. But if other government does it... oh no, it's then evil.

hennnry, I think there is a difference between the U.S. arresting potential terrorists and China arresting people for peaceful resistance against the oppressive government.

weegee64, see if we critically examine the two situation, you will find that the difference so minimal.

Let me give you an example, many of the potential terrorists, as called in US, are just that potential. Many of them have not committed any action to the US government. And on top of that, they are arrested outside of US soil.

Now, many American think it is OK for US government to do this.

Would you for a second imagine if the Chinese government go to another country and arrest someone for potential terrorists? What would you say?

Now, about the so called peaceful resistance... first of all, what's the difference between peaceful resistance and potential terrorists to a government? No difference, not at all. Second, peacefl resistance are simply those who haven't committed any harmful action yet, can you garauntee that they would never committ any harmful action though? Of course you can't. So why is it OK for US government to commit preeptive strike and arrest poeple who MAY POTENTIALLY harm US government from other country, but it's NOT ok for the Chinese Government to do the same?

Principle on principle, would you please answer me why the same action from two countries, based on the same principle, results in such a difference in your eyes?

Thirdly, about the definition of oppressive government... I don't dispute that China is an oppressive government. But I dispute that America is not an oppresive government. Let me show you some example:
1. Why can't I legally drink after 18 but before 21? After 18, poeple can join military and die for the country but they can't drink... Is this not a law that limit my freedom and oppresive?
2. Why is it that America had conducted the highest number of invasion post WWII against other countries in the world? Why is it so OK that American Government can assert its will power against poeple of other country while government of other countries can't assert its will power against their own poeple? Isn't this somewhat hypocritical?
3. While American top officials are less crupted in the eyes of public, it was done so by way of legalizing bribes and cruption. For example, when ex-Vice President C became vice president, his ex company (the weapon company) stock went up multifolds. Now, who do you think holds a large number of stock options in that company? Who do you think influcenced the US government to give huge contracts to that company? But hey, it's all legal.

Ma Zhaoxu is probably right. After all, he's the spokesman of a government that was elected by their own people in a free democratic election ...
Oh wait ...
