One quick question since nobody wants to answer my other post.Do chipset drivers actually improve performance.Someone told me this:
“Chipset drivers shouldn’t be touched no, those are the drivers for your motherboard. Unless you are installing some new hardware like a new cpu or gpu that requires a higher version of your motherboard then you will need to update it. In this case no don’t touch it your computer is already operating fine.”
So what do you guys get from that?

Oh.The latest chipset driver was today. And do I need a required BIOS version.Because I dont think my BIOS is the newest. And it says I gotta update to chipset driver 19.10
first.I am very lost rn.Dont know what chipset I got.Dont know what Bios I have.

Oh no hangon, the newest chipset version is if were to upgrade cpu to 3rd gen Ryzen where the latest chipset driver is recommended. That is after updating bios to the latest in the bios which requires advanced knowledge. Wouldn't bother if not confident because if do it wrong can brick the motherboard. Wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah.BIOS is tricky.Thank you.Was about to update it.
BTW:Feeling better.Told my father(did tried to help,he didnt know about fps so I told him)Had a much better day today than any other day i’ve had.Felt more alive than ever. Thanks to you.
That song was 👌BTW

Btw, another Fortnite problem.

If other games or benchmarks run fine, it's looking like Fortnite / Epic is the cause of this whole debacle

Yeah. Was looking at ur profile and I saw that you were working with that thread. Is actually sad that a multi billionaire company doesnt have their test servers to test things. This update was to improve performance(well it made it worse)Oh,probably said this already, but remember Nsudo disabled my backround services that were not needed?I updated windows yesterday and the services are back up(enabled)

Hope it gets fixed asap and stop driving people mad lol. Anyhow looks like your system is running normal and fine.

Id maybe make inquires or view possible threads on the matter over there at Epic forums.

Ok.Boju.Im back.Going to reset my pc.So I have to install chipset gpu drivers and what elese? And why do I have to install the chipset driver(you said that it was for people who where to upgrade to ryzen 3.)It was my pc.Seeing fortnite streamer and theyre fine already.

If doing a reset then just gpu driver.

Regarding chipset, no. Same consensus here;

Reset isn't a full wipe of the operating system so most drivers should still be intact but i would still download all drivers before the reset and reinstall afterwards to make sure. Chipset, lan, audio and gpu drivers.

Don't know where bios came into this but just checked the latest chipset driver (49.87MB). Install this followed after installing 19.10.xx version. See release notes for fixes.

To be completely honest.Did not get the last paregraph that you said.Just got a usb stick.Do I put the files to install there. But can you tell me the last paregraph you just said in an easy way.

From here: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-A320M-K/HelpDesk_Download/

Download to usb stick.
Audio
Lan
Sata
Chipset - Click show all and download both version 19.10.22 & 1.7.29.0115

---

After that, reset the pc.

Once done, open usb stick where the drivers are and install chipset driver 19.10.22 and then 1.7.29.0115

Restart the computer.

Once back in windows, install Lan, sata. and audio.

Restart computer.

Final step, install Geforce driver.

Thats it.
