So I recently got a new 600w PSU and a radeon 7870 GPU

System

i7 860 @ 2.80 ghz

8GB ram

GPU/PSU listed above

I have been having problems with the GPU, it seems to be faulty and Ive just had nothing but problems since I got it. I RMA'ed it to newegg for a refund not a replacement. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814161424 this was the card I had.

So Im gonna be choosing a different GPU, and aside from basics I really don't know what I'm doing as far as choosing.

I have some extra cash saved up and would like to get something better than a 7870, I looked around and came up with these..... are they good choices?

Are these good choices? Should I go with Radeon or Nvidia?

The link don't work. So I will tell you from my experience that a 7950 is the best gpu out their for price for performance. It's overclockability has the potential to beat stock GTX 680s. You can get it overclocked to 1235 MHz and for it to remain stable. SO if you have enough money I would suggest getting this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202003. It has sapphire's best cooler the vapor-x on it so it's overclocking potential increases. And always go AMD. Some people will tell you nVidia is better but their not. Their overclockability is severely lacking which puts them behind AMD and the charge a lot for their cards.
