[SOLVED] Chromium in registry even tho I NEVER installed itChr

So I was browsing my registry and came across "Chromium" in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, It only had one key with no value in it, I deleted it, after a cleaned up some junk files, rebooted my pc and there it was again, I made hidden files visible searched for chromium but nothing, I had google chrome installed before but deleted that, tho I can't delete it from the registry (chrome) my previous, now uninstalled browser was Avast secure browser, its icon became blank a few days ago could the browser had gotten a virus somehow? why does chromium keep returning in registry?

Chromium is open source, besides Goggle Chrome, there are many Chromium based browsers available today.
If you did not used any Chromium based browser, then it was most likely bundled with free programs you might have download from the web.

That aside, what browser are you currently using? Because there's probably an 80% chance it's Chromium based.

I was using AVAST secure browser which really really looked like chrome tho as I said I uninstalled it and posted this thread from Microsoft edge

and after the uninstallation the registry key was still there
