Hello,
"CLDR is missing" appears when I restarted my PC after disk cleanup...?
I attempted to click the disk cleanup in the properties of my hard disk which I think it will improve the performance of my PC. I deleted all the applications saved in the hard disk... after that a command saying there is a need to restart the whole system... so I clicked "yes" after that "CLDR is missing, press any key to restart" appears in a black screen..I already tried to enter the boot menu to put into safe mode my PC (to restore all the settings) but I did not see the safe mode...I also tried to enter the set-up menu but still it did not work!!! help me please.

Re-start the computer, poke the F8 key every second until the boot choices menu appears.

Select to start in safe mode,

next, choose your normal XP system

(time marches on.....)

when it is almost ready to show the desktop, a choice box will appear asking if you want to continue into safe mode or perform a system restore, make the choice to do the system restore.

A restore point is not a fail-safe backup. Many things people do to their computers are not recoverable using system restore, so feel very lucky if it gets you running again.
