In preparation of Nitelife I thought it would be a good idea to go
through all my downloads and see which I never use and dump them.

Just went through all my floors, in game so that I can see how they look
when laid as a floor. I think I dumped about 2/3 and now I "only" have
222 floors left. Later today do the walls, of which I have over 1400
files at the moment.

Then go on the objects, some catagories I have already deleted a lot,
but most work will be to go through all the different textures. Last
week I already did the beds and I really think that the coverings breed,
I can't remember downloading so many (bad) coverings!

What I dread most will be the bodyshop files, I think I'll dump all the
different hairstyles, since I hardly ever use custom hairstyles. I got
the clothes part reasonably sorted, but I got to sort the different eye
colours and make-up.

Still got two weeks until classes start again and two and a half before
NL is released.

I plan to be doing some of that myself in the next few days. I went
through my downloads with Clean Installer and got rid of several floors
and walls that way. I go on downloading binges and have tons of stuff
that I will probably never use. As was mentioned in here in an earlier
thread, some of those new meshes are very high in polygons and slow the
game down considerably. I hope to get it streamlined to the things that
I really do use so I can get back into gameplay before the new game
comes out.

I already deleted some walls in CI, but especially floors are best to
see in game how they form a floor (are they reasonably seemless) before
deleting them. In homemaker it takes too much time I find.

I noticed that cutting down my floor download already makes the game
load easier. Only have to do the 'paint' and 'wallpaper' sections of the
walls, but those are the biggest catagories.
Thankfully I do not have a lot of meshes, mainly beds, I already deleted
loads of couches I never use.

Back to my walls again

I already reinstalled the whole shebang. Gonna start with a new hood
when I get NL so I can see the neighbourhood slowly building up,
instead of KAPOW, there it is hehe
