I am trying to connect to another PC on my LAN using Remote Desktop
Connection (not web based version). I have previously been able to make the
connection. Not now. There have been no changes to the network settings and
neither computer is running a firewall. I tried the telnet test that was
talked about in previous post and it works. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I receive the error

"Client could not connect to the remote computer"

I am using the IP address of the computer to try and connect.

If it is running XP SP2 make sure the default Windows Firewall has Remote
Desktop exception checked.

Both machines are running SP1 and there are no firewalls on either computer.
