can i just ask what is **** speed and what an average clock speed is for a Q6600? And what it has to do with overclocking?

clock speed is the amount of cycles (RPM in a car) that any electrical equipment goes through in a second.

overclocking is just taking a stock speed of the piece of equipment and forcing it to go higher.

a q6600 runs at 2.4Ghz, or 2,400,000,000 cycles every second, stock.
