CloneCD isn't working right!

Well, I know its illegal to ask about illegal stuff like copying games, so I won't do that! instead I have another problem! I have Plextor 16x/10x/40x CD-RW with the latest Firmware 1.03! And a 10x/40x DVD-ROM. CloneCD is a program that should do a RAW write/read (like BlindRead and BlindWrite) I went to www.gamecopyworld.com and looked for CloneCD settings that seemed to be the best. So I did everything as it says! I did a RAW copy(with all those SubChannles readings and writings) of a XXXXX game (lets call it this way) and it said SUCCESSFULL! But the CD wouldn't work after that! (the one O copied the game onto)
My DVD/CD-RW can't read it! what's wrong? My CD-RW supports all that RAW+96 stuff! I triedd different settings - same thing! I think CLoneCD burns the CD IMAGE kinda wrong...
PLEASE HELP! Tt does it to all games!

1.04 is the latest firmware for the plex161040.
A laserlok2 (my name for it; i.e. Diablo2) won't show up the TOC. It's one of the 'features' included in the firmware. I can backup D2 with my USB Sony, but not my plex 161040.

Whatever. Go msft...

I [-CENSORED-] plenty of cd's using a copy of CloneCd I [-CENSORED-] from a friend of mine. All of them worked just fine.

I guess I have 1.03 then! does it have a laser-lock?
if CLoneCD said SUCCESSFUL then there wasn't one, right?

"what u wanted is deleted"

Heh.

Go to http://www.cdrinfo.com, and read on the clonecd review. It'll tell you about the copy protections. Download the protection identifiers. Then id just what kind of protection the disc is using, including a specific version number.

What game is it?

Try making a CD image and using Daemon Tools to emulate a CD-ROM so you can play the game off your desktop, instead of off your drive.

This is one of the best ways to figure out the proper use of clonecd settings...(at least it usually works for me)
