Question Cloned HDD is same size as Primary

I cloned my SSD primary, 232mb drive to a 1tb mechanical drive. Once the cloning succeeded, the large drive became 232mb. This was okay but now that i've crashed another large hard drive, i'm needing the space.
Instead of cloning again, i thought i'd make an image this time. My question is, if i reformat that 1tb destination drive, will My Computer (windows 7) show its 1tb size again?

When you boot from SSD, C: partition will be on SSD.
When you boot from HDD, C: partition will be on HDD.
That's how it's supposed to be and you should not change that.

Wipe your ssd with NTFS format, then reclone with partition wizard, most ways to clone only let you go to a larger drive, you can get a larger drive onto a smaller one with this

Was wondering why you wanted hdd as boot drive and not ssd
