What would be an /awesome/ feature is if ClrMAMEPro could use the
version info from catver.ini to create a 'Top Speed' ROM set that, with
the appropriate front end (non-existent as yet, but I'm hoping that
/some/ mighty programmer out there wants to take the project on.
<HINT><HINT>), would run each ROM with the earliest (i.e. fastest)
version of MAME that supported it. To keep things /somewhat/ organized,
you would probably want to allow a variable amount of version
'slackness' to minimize needed MAME versions. (i.e. A setting of '5'
would fold ROMs from versions .75-.80 into a 'v80' folder. The regular,
all-inclusive set uses the default value of '0', thus allowing Caesar
(i.e. The greatest 'Roman' in the world. <G>) to add the new routines
w/o changing the way most people use CMP.)

Well, if you live in Atlanta GA, USA or want to move there I could
arrange an interview. I definitely welcome a programmer of your skills
on our development team.

Well, kindly enjoy it FASTER!

Actually, I've a criticism on the "path" selection - for some reason, I
can't type in the full path into the selection field.

In other apps, I can (usually) copy the paths from the Address bar in
Winshit Exploder and paste them into the selection box, and once hitting
return it takes me directly to that directory so that I can then select
a file at will.

Unfortunately, with me having odd filesystem paths, it makes drilling
down an arduous task. Any chance this selection stuff can be made easier
for an old man?

(am I making any sense in this?)

Arse. Didn't know that. I'll give it a go at the next release.

Oh. It's out already...
