Question cmos battery prevent pc from booting

hello every one , i face a problem when i remove the cmos battery from my Z77 pro3 asrock, it didn't boot why?
that's weird, i know that cmos doesn't affect booting just date and time?

Removing the battery can cause the BIOS to lose all settings.
Including how the boot order is set up.

it didn't power up , no cpu fan nothing at all, but when i get it back , cpu fan turn few seconds and turn off, i check the ram ,, the psu the cpu i remove gpu, test all these compounents with another oc they work fine, my motherboard does'nt present any physical damage, i replace the cmos battery with another battery from another motherboard the pb still, i don't know what's happening , i bought this gaming mobo and use it for a week playing games with gtx 970 until one day pc shut down suddenly and this problem appears since then
