Motherboard : Biostar A320MH
BIOS : 5.14
Processor : AMD Ryzen 3 3200G with Radeon Vega Graphics
RAM : 16 GB DDR4
DirectX Version : DirectX 12
SSD : WDC WDS240G2G0A-00JH30
Problem: PC started freezing on boot. Changed CMOS battery. PC still Freezes on boot. It says CMOS fail in the American Megatrends in boot. Found a temporary solution of going in to the BIOS settings and "Reset to Default" then "Save Changes and Resets", the problem is I have to do this everytime I boot the PC or else it will freeze at the BIOS Logo.
Afterwards, Windows will start and everything else will just be fine. But there will come a point where even Windows will get affected, like Programs installed in the PC will have slower load times or watching YouTube videos and loading Web Pages will take forever despite good Internet Connection.
The solution I found is to change the CMOS battery and it seems to make Windows return to normal again but changing CMOS battery doesn't fix the "Reset to Default or Fix on Boot" problem. Sometimes, the PC won't even detect the Keyboard on startup so I can't access the BIOS settings to get prevent the freeze in BIOS.
I have already went through about 8 CMOS batteries.
Another problem with the PC is there are only a few active USB ports that sometimes malfunction. Like it would function properly now but later it would not detect whatever input is in them and some USB ports are just not active at all, most of them are USB 3.0. Other thing is that the BIOS screen doesn't display on HDMI so I have to attach a VGA cable in my monitor in order to see in the BIOS screen but once Windows starts, it will start using the HDMI connection (I have both VGA and HDMI plugged into my 1 monitor).
