Dear forum reader,
My girlfriend took over my gpu. She added it to her new build and all the sudden she gets this thing called coil whine... When I used my gpu I never had any problems... The only differences in our build is the psu. I have 520w and she has 450w
(components
1070
6700k
8gb ram
Msi mobo
Ssd
Hdd)
I think it has to do with the low voltage but some say it might be the noise reducing materials in the gpu that have become less??
Sidenote very important: coil whine only comes up when the gpu works for 300 fps in overwatch for example but when i put the settings on display based it dissapears!!!
Plz share your toughts!
Kind regards
