Question Coil Whine????

Low pitched frequency can be heard when opening game. I believe its coil whine can someone confirm this with me?

Make and model of your laptop? SKU for your laptop would help us two fold. As for your laptop, might want to check and see if you're pending any BIOS updates. Is the laptop under a warranty scheme/period?

lenovo ideapad L340 15irh its 5 years old and I have repasted, its been making this noise for quite some time now. I was assuming coil whine as it occurs when opening games and graphic intensive apps.

Ok, I can confirm that it is coil whine. Reason being it only happens on menus or when framerate is really high
