[SOLVED] Combining 2 SSDs?

Solution
If neither are the boot drive then you can use storage spaces but these wipes both drives so make sure you have the data backed up and then copy it back in.

If one is the boot drive then you can only either use symbolic links the make folders appear to be on one drive but are really on the other ...or start over and raid0 or jbod (not common anymore) the two ssd's together.

Thanks for the help!

Any particular reason?
What size are these drives, and what do you use this system for?
The reason is really just for simplicity. When I bought the first SSD I though 120GB would be enough, but I had to quickly buy a new one, and now my files are split up over two drives. They’re both 120GB and I just use my PC for mainly gaming; general purpose stuff too, but mainly games.

The correct way to do this is get one 250 or 500gb drive, clone the first small one to that. Replace the drive with the new one. Copy the files from this second drive to the first one, and then use the original two drives for backups.

So with only those two drives, you use 1 for the OS and application, and the other for games.
Combining them gains you no extra space. And applications have gotten really good at allowing multiple drives in a system. Steam, especially.

As you've seen, though...120GB doesn't go very far these days. Getting a larger one now is an obvious choice.
