Compatability, Opteron 170 and ASUS A8N-SLi Deluxe

I am helping my friend build a new computer for AutoCAD 2006 and for gaming, what i am wondering is if the AMD Opteron 170 Dual Core 20GHz processor is compatable with the ASUS A8N-SLi mobo, i tought it was b ut i am just trying to clarify.
