Question Compatible LGA1155 motherboard with XEON E3 1220V2 processor.

Has anyone used this processor with this motherboard? On ASUS website it says it is not compatible but it supports 1230v2 and 1245 which in theory is superior to 1220V2, if anyone has had this experience and wants to help me I appreciate it.

If it lists the 1230v2 then it should work with the 1220v2.
