I'm taking on the challenge of building my first PC and was just wanting to make sure that the following components will all be 'compatible' and work fine together:

Case: CoolerMaster HAF X Case

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws Z F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3

MotherBoard: ASUS Rampage IV Extreme Motherboard

Graphics Card: ASUS Radeon HD7970 DirectCU II 3GB

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K

Power Supply: Corsair HX-1050 80 PLUS Silver Power Supply

Thanx for the help in advance

Ok, changed the Motherboard (silly mistake) and changed the processor to Intel Core i7 3770K. How are things looking now? :)

Ok so now my build stands at:

- ASUS Radeon HD7970 DirectCU II 3GB

- G.Skill Ripjaws Z F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3

- CoolerMaster HAF X Case

- ASUS Rampage IV Extreme Motherboard

- Intel Core i7 3770K

- Corsair HX-750 Power Supply

Should this be setting me back $2100, or am I getting ripped off?
