Question Computer always uses about 50% CPU and GPU usage in games?

Hi, in games like rainbow six siege, tf2, or fortnite my cpu and gpu usage always stays at around 50% for these games. My idle usage is about 3%. Any solutions?

Ryzen 5 2400g
RX 580
8gb 2666mhz ram

Are you playing at low settings? Server not have many players? Sounds like the CPU/GPU is not under much demand.

In TF2 I run at max settings in servers with 24 people. In Fortnite and Siege, I run at low settings.

TF2 will run on a potato. It doesn't challenge modern CPUs and GPUs. Try using max settings as a test in Fortnite and see if the GPU usage increases. Neither game is very stressfull on the GPU. The CPU either until the server fills up with more players. 64 I believe is max.

Did you not expect your hardware to work harder during gaming? If only 50% that is a good point. vs GPU running at 98%
The power from your GPU/CPU is doing what it should while gaming. I would be concerned if you are at 100%, not at 50%
