Hello,im new to building a pc and ive picked out some specs could someone tell me if this is a good enough build for a gaming pc

Specs:
Mobo:Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard (Socket 1155, 32GB DDR3 Support, ATX, Intel Z77 Express, USB 3.0, CrossFireX Support, Dual Intelligent Processors 3)

GPU:Asus nVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti Graphics Card (1GB , GDDR5, PCI Express 2.0, HDMI, nVIDIA 3D Vision Ready)

PSU:Cooler Master GX-Lite 600W Power Supply

case:Cooler Master Elite 310 - Mid tower - ATX - no power supply ( ATX / PS/2 ) - black, blue - USB/Audio

CPU:Intel 3rd Generation Core i5-3550 CPU (4 x 3.3GHz, Ivy Bridge, Socket 1155, 6Mb L3 Cache, Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0)

RAM:Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Vengeance Memory Two Module Kit

Hard Drive:Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATAII 16MB Cache 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive OEM WD5000AAKS

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING THIS SO ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT.

 
It would be helpful to know your budget and where you are buying from

In general you have a strong mb/processor and decent RAM

but a fairly weak graphics card . If its just for gaming you can probably do better by spending less on the processor/mb etc and including a more powerful graphics card

On the Tomshardware home page is the system builder marathon $500 build . Worth reading for ideas [ but the psu they use is too budget ]
