On Monday I used my computer with no problems. Tuesday morning I tried
turning on my computer and it hanged at the blue xp logo screen. I tried
booting it in safe mode and all other kinds of modes but it will not go to my
login screen for me to enter my password. Can someone help me out?

Hi Dinah,

I had the exact same problem. This is how I solved it:

1. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds (computer will turn off)
2. unplug the main power cable from wall socket. 3. Wait for 5 minutes. 4.
Start your computer. 5. When you see the initial screen, tap F8 key. 6. When
the Windows Advanced Options menu is displayed, use the arrow keys to select
"Last Known Good Configuration" and then press ENTER. 7. Restart the computer.

Also, perform these steps: 1. Restart the system 2. At initial screen tap F1
key twice or thrice 3. This will take you to BIOS setup utility 4. Press F5
key to load the default values 5. Press F10 to save the changes and exit out
of BIOS

This might fix your problem!
