First things first. Rig info:

CPU: AMD FX 4350 @ 4.2ghz
Graphics Card: AMD R9 285
OS: Windows 7 Home Edition SP1
Motherboard: ASUS MSA99X Evo R2.0
PSU: Coolermaster 500W
RAM: 8 GB Corsair
HDD: Corsair 500 GB HDD.
Display Driver Info: AMD Catalyst beta 15.4 (newest driver)

-------------------------------------------

Now, the symptom/description.

Whenever I play Dragon Age: Inquisition or Final Fantasy XIV: ARR, or other likewise graphically intensive game. My computer will hang up and the screen will go completely green. It doesn't automatically shut off and I have to cut power and restart. I get no crash information upon start up.

Steps I have taken to try and fix the issue.

-Rolled back driver, didn't work (despite playing DA:I for 9 solid straight hours prior)
-Uninstalled all drivers related to display, booted in safe mode to do so, restarted, installed newest drivers.
-Plugging Card into my second PCIe x16 slot to troubleshoot possibility of bad slot on mother board.
-Used DDUninstaller to use script to remove all drivers and registry entries of display drivers and reinstalled newest drivers.
-Performed System repair, (I was required to do this after one crash for Windows would not boot up.
-Tried playing other games. League of Legends, and Draonball Xenoverse do not hang up and green screen.
-Adjusted graphic settings for both games, no avail.
-Monitored GPU heat. Ran solid 65C through each game at it's worst and maintained heat through FurMark's stress test.
-Put Furmark's stress test on for one hour, no hang up, no green screen.
-Inspected card and motherboard for physical damage, none detected from my eye.

-------------------------------------

I've exhausted everything in my power that I know how to do short of a full system wipe. I would love to avoid doing that and I don't currently have the money to drop on a new storage device. Any information, advice, or tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

PS: Many of these parts are less than a year old. The graphics card and CPU were both bought last month. The motherboard is maybe 7 months old.

I didn't want to hear that, but I supposed not every card comes off the shelf in perfect working order. Having been so new, I didn't really consider the card to be faulty, but I did her reports that the people I bought it from have been known to sell "dropped lots" That is, they still sell the card, as is, but it was dropped off a truck, which could potentially damage the merchandise. I appreciate your answer and I'm going to stop getting a headache over this and get a different card.
