Computer isnt displaying programs and is stuttering in games.

Motherboard: ASUS® STRIX B250H GAMING: ATX, LGA1151, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs

Memory (RAM) 8GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2133MHz (2 x 4GB)

Graphics Card 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1060

1st Hard Disk 2TB SEAGATE FIRECUDA 3.5" SSHD

Power Supply CORSAIR 650W TXm SERIES

I really need some help. My computer is freezing. Applications arent showing up properly even task manager isnt displaying. Games are freezing all of the time even when im above 60hz. I saw some threads that said that maybe its because i have a 144hz monitor displaying half the fps of the refreshrate. The solution people said to this was to enable v-sync which just did not work. However, in some games the issue isnt present games such as fortnite were im displaying 180-190 frames and overwatch were im getting 200-220 the problems arent there.

I really need help at this point.

Could this be a hard drive issue? I tried uninstalling afterburner the other day. Ive tried to remove all traces of the program. Yet it still keeps popping up with error messages on start-up (Edit i scanned hard drive no issue has been detected)
