Question Computer Starting to Run Worse

For a while, my PC has been running games well enough for me. Lately, my CPU has been getting very hot. I have had trouble with this in the past and the solution was new thermal paste so I reapplied but that didn't solve my issues. Trying to run games like Valorant or Apex Legends causes my PC to freeze while they are starting up. I am unsure of what the issue is or if my PC is just too old. Below is a UserBenchmark of my PC. clean the cpu fan? case fan? or replace them?

Went through and cleaned the case and the fans and had no luck.

After further troubleshooting I was able to solve the overheating problem by increasing my CPU fans minimum speed. I still have issues with the games freezing my pc but while monitoring my pc as the game starts the game seems to freeze my pc right as both of my ssds hit 100% usage.
