Question Computer stuck in ASUS Setup Utility after fixing c:

Hello world,

My pc (ASUS, Windows 10) blocked so I turned it off manually. When I turned it on it was in black screen with the message: fixing c stage 1 5 % ( 248589 of 427520 ) total 2 % eta 103.59.00.

It took half an hour, and then it turned off. (Apparently, it hadn't finished stage 2 and was about 75% of the total). When I turned it on it showed the message : Reboot and select proper boot device. And only ctrl.+alt+delete would make something. It brought me to ASUS Setup Utility, but now I am not able to get further than these two screens.

It sounds like the drive may have failed which is why it said "fixing c".
If the drive failed.....the PC will go to the BIOS and look for the drive to boot from....but if it has failed you get "Reboot and select proper boot device".

Ok thanks, it seems that is what happened. So, what should I do about it? I can't use my PC at all now.

That depends on whether you had a backup of it (like an image file).
If you did I would say, buy a new drive and clone the image file to it.
If you didn't I would say, buy a new drive and clean install Windows on it.
