This morning when I tried to turn on my computer, it stopped cold at the bios splash screen. It wasn't frozen, I could press tab to look at post, but there were no errors, it was just displaying this:
I'm currently running
Gigabyte x58-USB3
i7-930 OC'd to 3.6GHZ
6GBs of RAM
The heat levels have been good, and all the fans and heatsinks are working properly.
Resetting the cmos granted me a brief respite, and it let me boot all the way up, but only one or two startup programs loaded, including the default windows programs. I could not view or change the sound levels, for example. I tried restarting again to run memtest, and now it bootloops just as it gets to the bios splash every time.
Thanks in advance for the help!
