My first notice to them was on April 5th. I have yet to receive an RMA for two defective web cams and an inept vacuum. I have received SIX emails from them in response to my 3 requests in the past 12 days. Here is an example:

I CAN GIVE YOU AN IN-HOUSE-CREDIT FOR THE WEBCAMS AND THAT IS ALL I CAN DO.
HAVE A NICE DAY

WTFF!!! Fine, swap me for some more crap...BUT I HAVE TO HAVE AN RMA TO RETURN IT! THAT'S YOUR POLICY! So I have to wait another week to get an RMA (if I'm lucky)!?!?!? Arggggg. These guys were one of my regular vendors until now (for a limited amount of items, as they do carry a lot of junk).

In two of their letters, they asked me for the information I already gave them (not to mention, a quick look in their system will give them what they need...they don't have to get it from me, though I already supplied it!!).

[-peep-] YOU COMPUTERGEEKS & CNETPC...I'LL SEE YOU IN HELL (as I will most certainly be your master there). I work too damn hard for my money to be dealing with this crap.

If I don't get my 90THz AMD Quadraplex system soon, I'm afraid I may just combust right here.

Update:

Got an RMA two weeks after my initial request. Though I was unable to get it through the standard channels, as I had to go above some helmets and go straight for an administrative approach. Too bad CNETPC doesn't have any administrators (or so the phone lady says).

buying from computergeks is like going to a discount warehouse. you better know what you are buying first. now they have great deals and I am happy with them 100% but they do not stock anything. once it is gone its gone and yes they may not have anything to sell or replace it that is better.

they are an over stock discount store, they got what they got till its gone. like shopping at biglots

Funny you mention that...Those bargains they email to ya, there were times I would reply to get one within 15 minutes of receiving the email (even from the time the email was sent from their server, it was still excellent response time). But if it was a good deal, they were out of stock...probably before the email even went out. There's a marketing term for this...

I'm not a hard to please customer. I've purchased happily from many a vendor/wharehouse. But there are some things that just aren't supposed to go so horribly wrong.
