Happy Holidays everyone <3.

The holidays have placed me in possession of a bit of money that is burning a hole in my pocket...so I must rid of it!
I am looking at upgrading my MSI RTX 2070 Super.

I have my eyes set on a 3070ti, but when I was doing some research, it appears I will create a bottleneck with my i7-10700k. I ran a few calculators to look into this, and it was looking around 10-15% bottleneck, should this be enough to sway me from making the purchase? I won't be able to upgrade my CPU for a couple years at least.

Main reasons for upgrading: better performance on 1440p while streaming on Twitch. Currently modern games cause my GPU to run 100% while streaming and it messes up the stream. I'm looking to remedy this while gaining more overall performance.

Thank you in advance :).

Solution
Bottleneck calculators are complete garbage, do not use them. That cpu is still amoung the best, what are you going to use that is significantly better?

At 1440p the 3070Ti will be a great combination with a 10700k. I ran a 3700x and 3080 at 1440p 144Hz and it worked very well, the 10700k is faster than the 3700x.

Good to know lol. I was talking to a buddy and he was talking about bottlenecks and I got nervous hahah. I got the CPU back in 2020, so I was surprised to see it being considered "weak" when pair with the 3070ti.
Needless to say I'm happy I came here to inquire lol. I'll be making the purchase :) Thank you very much!
