Hello,

I have nothing built at the moment but I want to start planning how to do it.

I plan to have my gaming desktop at my desk with two monitors, a wired keyboard, and a wired mouse connected to the gaming pc. I have a work laptop that I want to be able to easily connect and disconnect for when I have to leave home to go into the office. Is there a way I can hook up my work laptop to my gaming setup so that I can use both monitors, keyboard, and mouse and then easily switch to gaming at the end of the day? My work laptop has multiple USB-C ports so I was thinking to use some kind of USB dock/hub. Any suggestions?

Thank you for any ideas you all might have!

Unknown. MOST laptops don't have two external monitor connections. The laptop vendor may have a docking station that supports two displays.
What is the model of your laptop ?

My work laptop is a HP Z-book Firefly 15 G8. Would I be able to do one usbc or hdmi cable to split to both monitors?

Is that a G8 or a G9 model laptop ? BUT, looking at the G8 specs on HP website, there are thunderbolt ports on the G8. You could get a thunderbolt to HDMI video adapter. Then you have two HDMI ports. To use a KVM (keyboard, video, mouse switch) adapter, you have to have one type of video port. Then you would get something like this -- https://www.amazon.com/Monitor-Support-Wireless-Keyboard-Adapter/dp/B07ZYJD11D/
