Next time drain the water out of it! ROFL

Sorry badge couldn't resist that one.

Well the CM590 build won't be finished till probably next weekend now, its going to take that long to get a replacement P/S, the one I bought just went out of stock at Directron.

That sucks!

Case is nice to look at!

Cable management could have been a little better, but I guess case designers cannot anticipate every possible hardware combination senario.

Hey man the Phenom II is on the market finally!

haha yeah I saw the Phenom II and read a few reviews. I really like this new micro system. I paid $80 for the MB and $50 for the processor. Then the eight gigs of PC6400 cost $80, $39 for each 4GB set. The case set me back $21. I'm all set for a 940! Pii not i7. So when the 920 drops to about sixty bucks, I'll be waitin'. So the 940 PII is equal to about a Q8400. And the 920 PII is equal to about a q9300. If Intel drops the price of the q9550 it could hurt the sales of the PII. Anyway, I'm happy with this system. I was going to put up some screenshots, but I'll spare you for now. It performs well with a slight 200 + MHz O'c to 2.7GHz. or so. Temps are fantastic there. I'm using 800MHz. RAM at 4-4-4-12. The board is natve 1066MHz. So the RAM data transfer speeds could be improved. Native Crossfire is great. I have not loaded up 3Dmark6, but the few benchs I have done with are mixed reviews. Onboard is ATI 3200 and that is crossfiired with a 3450. I like it, so if the systhetic benchmarks don't it's no big deal. I could always skip the native Xfire and put a real VC in there, it's PCIE 2.0. I like the fan controller. Installed a thid fan last night and cleaned up the wiring with duct tape in the back of the MB tray. I would definately buy this case again, for $21. I had to adjust the side panel fit with a flat head screw driver, well a kitchen knife don't tell. The panel fittings are very adjsutable, I mean bendable.

So you have to wait for the PCP & C 750w to come back in stock? I have a new 610 never used sitting here in the box. I paid $100 though. It was a while back. I have to buy a maybe 450-500w 'modular' PSU for this micro system. I'll look for one on Newegg. I'd like to get something with high efficiency and quiet. It'll be like picking the perfect woman.

Nice badge!

Directron has already picked up the bad power supply, blew me away at how fast they've responded on this issue, they still handle this kind of thing with utmost speed as they've done in the past.

Badge, contact me if you really did know Cowboy Dalton. I knew him 40 years ago when I was a kid growing up in Farmington MO. I have some stories to tell you. Name is Robert and I'm at decisioninformatics@gmail.com.
