Question Consistent fluctuating on CPU and GPU when playing Rainbow Six Siege ?

Since the game crashed once I have this really wierd kind of pls drops. So the game isn't lagging in the "normal" random kind of way instead it's doing it in a very consistent and annoying way. What you can see on the pictures are represented as FPS drops in game, every 5 seconds the fps drops from the normal 80 to betweeen 35 to 40 and it goes on until the round ends. It doesn't happen in the menus or anywhere, only in the actual round where the 3D stuff is happening
I have done the usual game reinstall, driver update/reinstall, settings changes, unplugged the mouse, keyboard etc. , (and I have the requirements for the game) and nothing changed at all.
I am not the best in fixing stuff like that but I try my best, I appriciate any kind of help.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

We're going to need a little more information. Can you please parse the specs to your system like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Can you check and see if HWMontior's temps have any co-relation with your FPS drops? Take note of your motherboard BIOS version and the version of your OS(we're currently on version 20H2). You might want to see if reinstalling your GPU drivers alleviates the issue.

In order to reinstall your GPU drivers, you will need the latest drivers from Nvidia's support site, then use DDU to uninstall all traces of GPU drivers. Once rebooted, install the driver in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

By any chance, did the issue crop up after their latest update? Does the issue crop up with other game titles?

CPU: Intel Core i7-7700HQ 2.80GHz
Motherboard: LENOVO LNVNB161216
RAM: 8GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 ti
OS: Win 10

The issue is only happening after a game crash, after that, they released a patch for the game and that still did not help

The GPUs temps look okay but the CPU is doing some weird stuff, the temps are going from 77 to 102C the voltages also between 0.70 and 1.1-1.3
and the clocks are jumping exactly between 789 and 3398 MHz

I ve done the GPU driver update but nothing changed.

What BIOS version are you on? If the issue is only with that one game, you might need to wait for more updates/patches to come around. I asked for OS version, by now it's pretty normal to have Windows 10. We're currently on version 20H2 for Windows 10.
