Contents of drive c are missing

I'm pretty sure PC got hit with a virus when hubby clicked OK on something.
Anyways, now when I click on the start menu, all of the programs there are gone, all our favorites are gone, and when I click on Start -> My Computer
-> Local Disk (C, ALL contents are not there.
Any help is appreciated.

The folders / files are probably hidden. Try running the "Unhide" utility
from this link. Also be sure to Get rid of that infection !

In addition, the folders / Files may have been moved to a different location (Temp), so do not delete any temporary folders until issue is resolved.
