Howdy! Just got myself a new laptop and decided to check out the integrated control utility (that looks like this ) View: https://imgur.com/a/FHBybx1

Everything in it works well, the fan speed adjustment, the smart charging, BUT the whole thing crashes when I choose the LED keyboard section. It's but a minor annoyance, but I'd still rather have it working than not. The only significant thing that I've done was installing Windows 10 instead of Windows 11 it came with, perhaps during the re-installation some drivers were wiped or something. I've installed all the updated Windows Update Center had to offer, too. All help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't really know what to look for in the event viewer, but Reliability Monitor shows this error every time it crashes: View: https://imgur.com/a/CUlec3r

Update your post to include full laptop specs and OS information.

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be capturing some related error codes, warnings, or even informational events just before or at the time of the crashes.

Alright I solved it, poked around on the system drive in Program Files folder and found a folder which doesn't look like it's from Windows. It had a few driver installer applications, once I ran them all, the issue fixed itself.
