Cooler Prescott in the future?

Does anyone know if a cooler-running Prescott might be in the cards down the road? Yesterday I was admiring an Intel D925XCVLX motherboard at Fry's with another customer, and we got to talking about the Prescott. He said he knows several people who've built systems around them, and they've ALL had problems with overheating except the one guy who installed a water cooler.

I don't want to go with water cooling. Right now I'm thinking Northwood, but I'm curious if Intel has plans to fix the Prescott heat problems.

Well.... they can't leave it as is, because it's not a viable product.

Which means they'll either find a way to cool it off, or invent better cooling, or come up with another heat-efficient processor down the road.

They have to solve the problems people are facing with prescott processors.

That's probably why Sony's top of the line Desktop USES water-cooling.

CyberCraig, Why do you always stick a  icon on your posts?

Just curious... It just always makes me think you're being sarcastic or something.
