I have never seen temps that high on a 970 before, even if it has the stock heatsink - you may have something wrong with your card. Nevertheless, to reduce temps, you can buy more case fans, to increase the airflow in your case, and move the hot air out faster so the GPU doesn't throttle.
Hmm :/ that's sad to hear. what could be wrong with the card?? i ve bought it about 2 months ago. Also, I have a cooler master elite 311 cabinet. Can you suggest fans for that? ive been looking for fans but there are so many i dont really know which would best suit this one.
