Dude don't Bit*h about 200 - 250 bucks. there are other things out there to get you panties in a twist about, like a 4000 dollor car repair.

I'm tired of this crap with e-tailers and Conroe out of stock.
Just bought E6600 from my closest retailer for 379$.

Dang
e6700 is at 699 right now. Think it's a little too much.

way too much 8)

weird they had them for like $620 when they were in stock...?

By they you mean...who?

sorry let me clarify, newegg had them for cheaper. and to be totally clear i believe it was $630 not $620. that is far from $699 😛

as far as i know newegg added e6700 on aug. 07, today, and you are claiming newegg at some point had it in stock?!

yes sir for a good hour or so in stock :). i'm holding out for an e6600 myself.

even though im sure it was a mix up with "in stock", because there must have been one hell of an order to put a whole shipment of e6700 out of stock in one hour 😀

you guys I think that was an "oops" because the prices are now as follows:

E6300 - $249

E6400 - $299

E6600 - $419

E6700 - $699

X6800 - $1159

Now the E6600 and up still seem a bit high, but at least the 6300 & 6400 are better priced... although yes I'm sure you can still find them cheaper elsewhere.

I pretty much do all my shopping from zipzoomfly, I just use newegg's site to find stuff because of all the search options. Plus ever since they switched to UPS for shipping I've had problems with delivery.

ups, fedex or usps what's the difference? as long as package is delivered fast and not damaged i could care less

fedex always comes to my door and knocks and actually waits for a few seconds before they leave a note and run away.

then fedex actually comes back either later that day or the next day and tries again.

ups/usps from my previous experiences, knocks lightly, then leaves a note on the door and makes a dash for it. the note is awesome, it says "go to this location and pick up your package". that shit really gets old after a while.

anyway that's quite offtopic.

Problem is I live in a rural area and my shippment gets delayed for several days. Fedex would drive my stuff out in a van to me to get it there on time. UPS waites until the truck is full.
