Core i5 2500k vs core i7 950?which one

hi guys i wanna ask which is more better suited to my need ...i usually play games at ultra high resolutions and do medium multitasking can you tell which one is better ill give you two options plz help!

OPTION1:

TOTAL:$1055

Unless you actually use programs that take advantage of the hyperthreading cores, the Option 3 system will serve extremely well for both hi-res gaming and multitasking.

Even if you go with the Option 2 system, make sure you upgrade it to 8GB of RAM. Your system will thank you!

I just can't recommend Palit anything after the whole GTX460 thing.

Wow. Just looked up the problems they had -- wasn't aware of them until now.

Okay, then go with Evga instead ... adds $10 to the Option 3 total -- $1055 now.
