Core i5-750 with 3x2GB memory modules

What is the disadvantage of running an odd number of dual-channel memory modules? Specifically, CORSAIR XMS3 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1600C8 G on a Giga-Byte GA-H57M-USB3 LGA 1156 Intel H57 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Well users buy 3 sticks in order to run their memory configuration in triple-channel mode, because socket 1366 supports this configuration, whereas socket 1156 supports dual channel, overall there isn't any noticeable difference between tiple channel and dual channel.
So you can't use that RAM on your motherboard in triple channel mode, i would strongly recommend going with 2x2GB or 4x2GB(if you need 8GB RAM)

I found this interesting test. It appears that triple-channel is a waste of time - literally.
