Corrupted Hard Drive Windows Key Retrieval

Hey guys,
So I corrupted my hard drive, so now I want to reformat it and reinstall Windows 8, but the problem is, is that I can't find the key, so I want to retrieve the key from the corrupted hard drive, could someone help me with this, if there is no way, then would one of you be kind enough to give me a Windows key. Thank you very much.

Well nobody is going to give you a key but you may have another option. Did the system come pre-installed with windows 8?

Yes it came pre-installed with Windows 8.

Then your product key is likely embedded in the bios. Reinstall with the correct version of windows 8 and it should automatically pull the key from the bios.

You'll need the recovery media that would have either came with the system or you would have needed to create it or a win 8 OEM disc(retail wont work).

You'll need to buy or borrow a copy. The OEM version of 8 in not available for download.

I don't even know how my hard drive became corrupted, I hope once figure everything out and start it up again it won't fail on me again..
