Hello people I'm in need of some help! Recently bought the Corsair H100x Elite cooler. After installing it all and checking the rmp of everything in the bios I saw the pump is at 0rpm I've tried looking to see if I have connected something wrong but as it came with no instructions it's rather hard for my smooth brain to work out. Any help or advice would be appreciated . I have one cable from the cooler in my CPU header on the mobo and the other in pump header. still no rpm or rgb..I feel dumb that I can't work it out it seems simple enough. I know I must have done something wrong but I'm not sure what lol. Thanks for any replies.

if these are aRGB fans there will be two cables leading away for them;
one for fan RPM, a PWM 4pin cable that should connect to the CPU_FAN header.
and one for LEDs, a 3pin cable that would lead to an aRGB header.

then a 3rd cable for the pump, another 4pin cable that would connect to a ***_PUMP header.

is this cooler not designed that way?

include the motherboard make/model + other system specs.

this cooling unit was purchased new or second hand?

I switched the 3 pin cable from the CPU fan header to the Pump header and I'm now getting rpm on the pump in the bios.. sorry if I sound dumb but does something "need" to be connected to the cpu fan header? My fans on the cooler itself are working (connected to mobo SYS_FAN ports
