Corsair vengeance 16gb not running at 1600mhz

Hi i just built a new computer last week and every time i shut off my computer and turn it back on it keeps resetting my memory from 1600mhz to 1333mhz saying that the 1333mhz is more stable i checked all over the forums to correct this but could not find an answer to my problem. I'm pretty new to adjusting things in the bios so any help would be great. I just want my ram sticks to run at their default specs without having to change it back every time i restart my computer.

If it is telling you that it is moving from 1600 to 1333 for stability reasons, there is probably not much you can do to convince it that 1600 is more stable than 1333.

The difference is also probably pretty slight.

I would just let it do like it wants to do.

Those sticks will run at 1600MHz if the Voltage is set to 1.5V.
If they are left to auto, the voltages drop to 1.45V and that send the stability@1600MHz for a toss.
What you need to do is get into the BIOS , go to/find the RAM timing/settings section and change the Voltage to 1.5V.

The newegg links you posted seem dead, all I could find there regarding the ram is either one of these two.

The second one is not listed in the QVL but the first one is.
BIOS:
Under the Heading AI Tweaker there is a Heading called DRAM Voltage. You will be able to change it from Auto to 1.5V if you choose the DOCP option in the AI Overclock Tuner, which is set to Auto by default.
