Long story short, my MB just got a gash in it as can be seen in this image:
Since then I can’t get the PC to turn on at all. I unplugged the PS and turned it off for a min then plugged it back in and turned it back on. As soon as I switched PSU on, there was a quick flash from the MB then all dead again.
Below is a slo-mo video of what happened visibly when I turned the PSU back on:
Does this likely mean that the gash in the MB is causing a short and the MB needs to be replaced?
