Could this have damaged my PSU?

So about 5 months ago, I had a fan that was fairly old and it was connected to the same electrical outlet. A week after that I noticed that sometimes my computer would freeze once I turn on the table fan so I immediately stopped using.

Time skip of about a month and now my computer would permanently freeze until force reboot it and now it would freeze completely while Its booting complete with occasional visual artifacts.

I'm now very suspicious that my PSU is the culprit here because of those power losses.

It's more likely that your PSU was going bad all the time, getting a little worse every month, and turning the fan on exposed that weakness. No it has deteriorated further.

What is your PSU, what are the components in your system and how old is your PSU?

It's possible, but there may be other explanations. (The fan messed with the airflow in the room, causing thermal issues)

I would do that but the chance of me booting and logging in without having my computer freezing is slim.

The computer apparently freezes faster ( crashing is inevitable ) if I leave it off for some time.

Like I say, it could be PSU, or not. Could you try booting on only two memory sticks and see if that changes anything. If it still freezes, try two different memory sticks, and if it continues to fail then, then I'd provisionally rule the memory out.

Got a spare PSU around?

Booting up with 4 sticks made the boot up a bit faster and it didn't crash until I ran prime95.

Booting up to with 2 stocks also had performance increase on boot up and my computer didn't crash either. System seems more stable with 16GB of ram.

Forgot to mention that my C1 and C2 ram slot seems to be dead as none of my memory sticks are being recognised there.

EDIT:
My computer still froze but survived the longest with 2 sticks.

I wish :| ... I'm in UK

I brought it from PCSpecialists but the warranty ran out about 2 months ago.
