The matchmaking system and ladder we were led to believe would be the focal point of this game that set it aside isn't present. Very disappointing.

they put a countdown on the xbox 360 dashboard for this game and ive been waiting along time 10hours today the countdown has finished and no game...? i guess that countdown wasn't supposed to be aimed at the xbox 360 audience even though it was on the xbox 360 dashboard? wtf?

YEah I have been following the release time all over the damn place on this one... Now that they have delayed the release further along than the Official countdown timer on Xbox I might not even be able to play the game. What cunts

Meh, I really don't see the point of CS now, sure it was great back in the day. But it's really outdated. Also the netcode is horrible.

It's a great alternative when you're sick of unbalanced spray'n'pray shooters like CoD or Battlefield 3 and not in the mood for TF2, Quake Live or Tribes.

CS:GO doesn't reinvent the wheel, but a shooter that rewards skill, tactics and teamplay is rare these days and CS:GO has extremely well designed and balanced gameplay.

i bought it yesterday and found it to be quite alot more fun than most shooters Ive played. the tactics needed to win most matches is very satisfying. my only problem with it is that shotguns are very underpowered(barely do any damage at anywhere near mid range and some shotties take 3-4 shots to kill a guy point blank).

I, for one, will not buy anything from Valve until Half Life 3 is at least announced. Yeah, I am on strike. Why put effort on a mediocre game (CS:GO) when there are a bunch of people ready to pre order the collectors edition of HL3 without even seeing a trailer?

Great to be back in. Although it sadly feels like I never left... I am keen to see what longevity comes from the new modes as currently, it is the exact same exprience... Like CS I keep coming back, albeit for a new weekends a year...

I all ready got my download of psn at 12pm on da 21 wtf yeal waitin for ??

is there even a need to announce a game that obviously going going to come out at some point. Im very sure there is a good reason involving HL3 developement as to why its late. HL3 has to live up to its predecessor and i doubt valve will deliver a game that doesnt do it justice. also remember the HL developement team is VERY small when compared to other AAA developers.

90% of the time, when people whine and cry about something being late(amd bulldozer, duke nukem, etc) the developers release the product in a hurry and it turns out crap or not as good as it could have been. Were lucky valve doesnt give a shit about the whiners, and release their products when theyre ready.

i play beta and it is one of the worst shooter released this year, should be free to play

Counter Strike Source has been my main game for 7 years. There's just so many mods in addition to the vanilla objective games. It's really more like 10 games wrapped into one. From what I've played of GO, it seems like a huge graphical update. that's really all I wanted :).
